We are finally moved in to the new house. It was an adventure to say the least. Thursday we moved everything out of the Callender St. house and into my parents' garage and a UHaul. In hindsight, I needed a much bigger UHaul. :) Thursday night we stayed at Scott's parents' house and I actually got some relaxation time Friday in the am. (Scott had to work both Thursday and Friday morning so he was exhausted.) We closed at 3pm Friday May 1, drove to my parents' where everyone was waiting with two loaded UHauls (yes, two - my dad went out and rented a second one to speed up the move). We were all unloaded by 9pm!!
Last week was the most nerve racking week - not knowing when we were going to close, and if we needed to rent a storage unit. It really came down to the last minute, but it all worked out. So worth it because I LOVE our new house. We're still in the unpacking process, but it's feeling like home already.
