Logan's Playroom

Around Christmas-time 2011, we transformed the office/dumping ground into an office/playroom (in hopes of keeping some of the toys corralled and to give Logan a place to play)!

New Kitchen Logan got for Christmas, a magnetic board for his letters, and a picture wire to hold artwork

Deck - Spring 2012

We went pretty much all of 2011 without doing much to the house! But...we were saving money for a big one...the deck. This was NOT CHEAP but very much worth it. 

It's Trex Transcend flooring (Color: Rope Swing) and Trex Accents railings (Dark Brown), with brown aluminum balusters. The end result was awesome and we used the deck pretty much every day during the summer!

  

Logan's Room - Summer / Fall 2010

The next room we tacked was the nursery! Here is Logan's room! "Pond Moss" green on the walls; tree, owl, and deer artwork by Aunt Caitlin; brown and cream accents.

 

Kitchen Backsplash - August 2010

In August 2010, we put in a kitchen backsplash. It's a mix of glass tiles and Travertine tiles. I helped, even though I was very pregnant. It took us one very long day to get all the tile up and then grouted the next day.

We also painted the great room at the same time, but apparently I didn't take any "after" pictures?! The Christmas shot below shows part of the room though, dark wall behind the fireplace/tv and peanut butter color on the rest of the walls.

Fence - Spring 2010

Getting the fence put it was a much anticipated house update! Finally we could let Bindi in and out without having to put her on her line!

Sod and Landscaping - 2009

I'm going to start blogging here again to post our house projects and upgrades! It's fun to see how far the house has come.

Here are some pics after the sod was put in Summer 2009 (and even some landscaping in front of the garage), and with our stuff finally moved in!
